BNXN Biography

Although Buju is not Yoruba by tribe, he speaks Yoruba fluently. Buju mentioned that his late mom taught him Yoruba at his early age before he lost her to cancer. He originally originates from Akwa-Ibom but he lived with is mom in Gbagada before he moved to Ogun State.

The name Buju means Chubby in some language. According to BNXN he gain interest in music in his early school days, he claims he was inspired by the likes of D’bang, P-Square, 9ice, and also Olu Maintain.

When he starting music in the early days he started with the stage name Drizzle which he later changed to Buju up until recently where he claims he should no longer be called Buju but BNXN.
