What happened to Pastor Musa?

The incident all began after Pastor Musa was abducted from his farm on Saturday, November 11. However, Mary, a church member, narrated how it all happened. She said according to his wife, he left the house to his farm but after noticing he wasn’t back at night, they raised the alarm. The wife and the villagers all went to the farm to look for him but found out that he was missing.

She said the kidnappers got in touch with the family and demanded twenty million naira. After a lot of pleading and negotiations, however, they agreed to collect a sum of one million naira. Two of the church members were sent to deliver the money and the items.

They demanded recharge cards, chicken, and drinks alongside the money. On reaching there, the money was delivered and they started going home before the pastor was called back and shot dead by the abductors. His body was later brought back to Obajana.

The news broke on social media after the church posted it online on Wednesday, November 15. However, the police confirmed the incident, began an investigation, and said that those behind it would be brought to justice.
