Peter Okeke was born into a God-fearing home. His parents; Paul Okeke and Anasthesia Okeke were not fully in support of his musical career. His father especially believed that music was not in line with the career path they choose for him.
However, the talented young singer never stopped grooming his musical prowess. Even while he was in secondary school he was always looking for ways to entertain his friends.
This habit stuck with him, even after he left secondary school. He would always go out to perform for street carnivals or events held within his area in Anambra State.
Though he was the only boy, his two sisters (Joy and Chidera) were very supportive at times were he needed support. They would always cover for him whenever he snuck out to perform.
During the covid 19 pandemic, he started releasing songs with free beats he got online. One in particular which he titled “corona” became a massive hit and broaden his fanbase.
In 2021, he continued by doing freestyles of songs he liked. He made a cover of Essence by Wizkid and Tems, and that was the turning point. Various blogs and social media influencers reposted it he got encouraged to go further.
In 2022, he released his first official single titled “Paper” and the song was instantly a hit. Following that he even released other songs that were notably very good. I believe the world is yet to see the full potential of this young man.
