Who Is Spyro?

Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, known by his professional stage name; Spyro. He is a talented Nigerian songwriter, artist, performing artist, and entrepreneur. Born on the 1st of October (which happens to be Nigeria’s Independent day) 1997.

Spyro’s Biography

Spyro was born and raised in Lagos State, Nigeria, and that was where his musical career started. He was a dedicated member of his church choir. Even while he was in secondary school (Mainland children’s school) he was still dedicated to the choir.

He claims that his mentor while growing up was Usher and R Kelly, and this had a huge influence on him. Their still of music defined Spyro’s sound as well, even to this very day.

He later went on to attend the University of Ibadan and he kept on advancing in his career. Today, he is one of Nigeria’s most promising prospects in the music industry.

In 2017, Spyro had his first official hit (billing) even though he was not signed to any record label. Although he later fell from grace, he rose in 2023, after releasing a new hit song titled; “who’s your guy”.
