Balogun Olamilekan was born in Coker, Surulere, Lagos State, Nigeria, and is currently signed to Lormy Entertainment and Dvpper Music. He started his love for music at a pretty young age while he was in his church choir.
His inspiration was his father who was the conductor of the church choir at his time. He claimed he was always moved by various instruments while he was in church.
This prompted him to pick up an interest in music and he decided to learn an instrument. He decided on learning the piano since his father was good at it and he could learn from him.
