Founded in 1989, Access bank ranks 3rd in our list today, having over 23,000 staffs around the world in their numerous amount of branches. Access bank holds a higher position because of the numerous feet archived ranging from assets, loans and branch network.

In April 2019, Diamond Bank merged with Access Bank to build a new entity while retaining the name of Access Bank with a logo that took the form of Diamond Bank. Access Bank became one of the largest bank in Nigeria.
